Summary

Edaine was a human male who lived during the Cold War.During the Republic's initiative to resettle the planet Taris, Edaine held the rank of doctor and served in the Republic Expeditionary Force, a special unit of Republic Army, assigned to the Republic restoration forces on Taris. He was a purposeful and pragmatic man, ready to sacrifice the lives of others for the common good.As part of a joint team of the Expeditionary Force and the Jedi Order, he set out on a research expedition into the Reclamation Zone around the Olaris spaceport.The expedition were taking pollution readings in the ruins on the old Municipal Utility District when they found the medical holocrons. Jedi Master Tykan decided to get them back to the base right away for a study, and taking Edaine along with a small group of researchers with him, set off on a journey back.On their way to the base, Tykan, who was under the control of the Dark Plague, lured the group into a trapfall and set fire to the pollution in the swamp, claiming that he was punishing them for allowing Taris to be destroyed centuries ago. Tykan left, leaving the expedition to die. Edaine tried to save two assistants - Frej and Defte - trapped under a collapsed beam, but was unsuccessful.When Barsen'thor and Fess - who were after Master Tykan, found them, they rescued everyone they could, but the holocrons were lost in the fire.
